Q: We have a CNC lathe with GSK980TDb CNC controller and DA98B AC servo driver, the encoder of X axis was broken, so we replace it with a new one, then we turn on the lathe machine, without any operation the X axis moves rapidly, then there is an alarm Err-12 displayed on DA98B driver.

 

A: This problem caused by excessive current, the X axis motor was damaged and stuck.
